Being the of Chief Financial Officer of a large enterprise like the Town of Munster is no small task. Such an important role in government requires experience, education, and the savvy to understand the unique challenges facing municipalities today. As Clerk-Treasurer, Wendy Mis has proven she not only has the educational requisites, she also has the insight and experience to lead at this high-level position.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Wendy demonstrated solid leadership, adapting quickly to the emergency and focused financial resources on the health of residents and town employees. She also initiated pay increases for civilian Town employees, while continuing to operate a lean government body. Wendy understands the unique challenges Munster faces in balancing budgets while ensuring continued progress in our community. Her comprehensive education and experience is exactly what Munster needs... now, more than ever... to manage the Town's financial health.
